| My question is: in sex, or in life, what constitutes evil? Helen is evil. Why? Because she takes what is not given to her to take. Indeed, what most of us would say she is parentally bound to protect! The fact that her son is a sort of miserable, sad case of a 14 year old boy does not matter. He is only 14; he might grow up; and he has not really hurt anyone except possibly himself. There is lots of transgender sexuality out there that has to do with (sort of) realizing a true inner self, or, I think, more commonly, a little kink in a personality that enjoys a voyeuristic jaunt anon-sex, but not at the cost of others, of the imposition of deception over reality. The story offended me because of its essentially wrong behaviors. |
