| Excellent story. I liked it on at least three levels. First, I enjoyed the alternate Earth - where paranormal powers are common. That makes the story much more fun - figuring out what makes that world unique when compared to ours. Second, I thought the action sequences were some of the best I've read in a long time. Very realistic. Third, I really liked the personal touch for the main character and for the supporting cast as well. I felt Glen was very well developed and the onset of his relationship with Brandon was just right. I also liked the depiction of the internal conflict for Glen and Mike vis a vis their sexuality. A terrific effort - and best of all - wide open for many sequels! Thanks for the fun read - |
