Professor, I just finished re-reading all the Crescent City stories & was impressed with how well they held up. Would love to see you write another Crescent City story. Crescent City 3 - The Slaver     Details
Excellent story with Paul's usual first class characterizations + . Good mysterious settings - its a very sad story with deaths of one of the characters & the losses with very ironic ending. The story has a good sense of mystery - excellent read.

To start out , this site , whatever your taste is in reading .literature entertiainment ,YOU must admit, these stories are unique , standing in a creative light all on its own .The mature theme stuff ? Yea..it's out there ,but true creativity....NOW that's the ticket!( But I've said this before in my previous reviews!) ---Tell your friends! If BIG-TIMES Hollywood writers "bite'n sky-jack from this site should'nt TELL you something!?!? Now..........the review! I should have given my review of the first "Role-Exchanger" story but P.A.P.B.S. has slowed up my scheduled rounds and format .(Oh,..Personal And Professional BullShit but that's life!! )This is the ONE story that has the chance to to easily ,mind you , to go on indefinitely... I mean who said that this role switching thing ,being alien and ENERGY , could'nt transcend time(and SPACE, it seems..) Only a good , creative writer , knowing about the characters can bring as many as these traits out , front and center ,exploit these 'persons' involved( any 1/2/ decent author KNOWS people are characters and characters make people! It's true! It's TRUE!!)..set them in situations that don't have to be dangerous to life and limb and get a point across. Good example ; the husband and wife in the first part of the story. She just wanted her mate to be a bit more active around the house , even maybe read a book . Our 'Happy-ass' alien pick up on her thought process but gave her more than what she wanted , both in mental and physical being , by letting her as close to letting one 'feel' without becoming that envied person, gaining what she did'nt understand and yet wondered about. Another example , which is the BEST (to ME! )of this story ; Karen and Chloe! Karen is trying to help her little sister to get herself together and on track in life and make something of herself, and she has a problem with Chloe's body piercings and the 'punk-goth'look .Now, comes aolng the alien friend and "BAM!" Karen is punk-rocker with two degrees in law and business admid. and is more of a shark than she ever was . See, the way I figure it, the role-excange being can give only so much between two persons depending upon the main-objection interest, srate of being at that time and place, as many times it desires. I'd like to see a character go thru what Karen did only a little more..like "bust-adjustment" height, maybe a punk-rocker with the intellect of an Einstien! Morpheus is the reason why I've decided to do something creative with his stories (and others from this site! hey, hollywood is doing it!) but first; 4 1/2 stars-Story IDEA; the originalness is envious ! 5-stars-Story DIRECTION(nuff said..reed!) 5-Stars;Story plot Manipulation!! My "ONLY" problem with this story is this one SHOULD have been given FIRST ! Don't agree? DON'T believe ME!?? Read the one before this where the alien goes to college! oh, be on the lookout for The "Graphic Quarterly Journal!" Stories from this site , along with sci/fi tales will be included! #1 MAY HAVE "COMETARY DEBRIS" by WOLVERINE! #4 or 5 will begin R.E.E.B.;ROLE EXCANGER EARTHBOUND!"
