| The problem I have with stories like this is that they seem so incomplete. They are like reading a chapter lifted out of a much longer tale. While you have done a good job of answering some of the points that you presented in the small plot of this short tale, there is so much more that is left unanswered. Like why did Astrid wish to capture Amy; how was her grandmother able to do the things she did; what occured to the new Amy at the hands of Astrid and her followers; who was this man that he would hire himself out to kidnap a young girl; was he a simple thug - or was there some other reason for him to do it; and well, you get the point. Just alot of points without resolution. If you are going to write such tales, then it is important to cover the holes and points in the plot so you don't cheat your readers by leaving them with questions because of an unfinished or incomplete ending. You should also consider writing more tales with these characters to help resolve the things presented in this tale. |

| I hope we get to the TG parts before Chapter 5. Anything else is wasting space on what is, after all, a TG fiction page. Despite the fact that nothing of any interest has happened so far (only a few open-ended teasers that hint at future mischief), the story still seems kind of rushed to me, and the characters don't really have any personality- the adults are all the same and the students are all the same. |
