Oh I have sat on the Virgin Cattle truck going to computer courses in the smoke, dreaming of doing just this, my fantasy. I may still do it! this story has given me such a lift. Someone knows their way around Euston! Continue the good work 'am' love Amanda

I agree -- a fabuloso tale! The idea of a sequel is good! I can see it now... Beth looks for the shoes in it's usual place, but a pair of mens shoes is there instead. Curious, she tries them on and the rest remains to be written... naturally, the only man that Jo would enjoy would be his wife :) Excellent effort! Whether a sequel or a new saga, I will await new magical stories from you with anticipation!

Wow! What a story. One of my first "cromexx" stories had a leprechaun in it, so I couldn't resist reading this one although the "magic" used was a little different. That's the one thing that I thought was very creative - the "magic" was more believable than the old hocus-pocus stuff (though I still like the hocus-pocus stuff quite a bit). In fact, it seemed like everyone except the leprechaun was affected by a slightly lesser bit of magic than what happened to the leprechaun himself (but I won't give the story away, I'm sure readers will know what I mean though). I could write a book sized review of this but I'll just say that I was impressed and leave it at that. :)

This is one of the best stories I have seen. I hope that you will do some more like as I would like very much to read them. This is a wonderful story. If you have anymore stories like this one please let me know. I would like to just Say "Thank You" from a 66 year old .

I usually like to include little in-jokes and references but with this story I went a little crazy. So if you're curious, here are some of my favorites I included: - Of course the whole idea of the DMGC is an in-joke about magical change stories. In one of my own recent stories the transformed character was left with a very specific bimboesque outfit, seemingly out of nowhere. I kept wondering who picked that out, which led to the existence of the DMGC. :) - That was indeed Puck at the end. In fact, there are little clues that this whole crisis was engineered by him. (Daz and Dusty even comment how wildly improbable it was for two guys with such similar and unusual names to get gender changed on the same day.) So Dusty didn't mix up the cases--Puck did it to test Daz. (Daz's nickname as "Puck's Apprentice" was given to him by the other fairies, which likely mildly annoyed Puck. So Puck--BEING Puck--mischievously courts utter disaster here just to see if this kid is good enough to deserve that nickname.) - Oberon, Titania, and Puck are all fairies from A Midsummer Night's Dream - Lily jokes that she's attracted to boys who refuse to grow up--a nod to Tinkerbell and Peter Pan - Daz and Lily's incredulity at Dusty's being saved by a hawk ("next time you tell it, it'll be an eagle") was a nod to Tolkien - Xander's nicknames for Cally's girls--Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail, are from Peter Rabbit. Cally's boyfriend is named Peter and he practically pounces on the female Cal when given half an opportunity. :) - I didn't mean to write it this way, but the scene with Thornbender at the end praising Daz's ingenuity, Dusty's self-sacrifice, and Lily's loyalty is very reminiscent to Dumbledore awarding points to Harry, Ron, and Hermione at the end of the first Harry Potter book. It made sense and was a nice nod, so I left it in. - Little nods to other universes like Spells R Us or the Medallion of Zulo. (I couldn't resist referring to the SRU wizard as the DMGC's "best customer.") - Dusty's *KA-GIRL* reference was a nod to the Wotch - Running joke about how almost everyone hates their name--Daz, Dusty, Cal, even the hawk - "Willy's Brick Oven Pizza" and the mall being named Ardenwood were both references to William Shakespeare - When Dusty is on the run from the dog in the back yard, he calls her 'Nana'...the name of the dog from Peter Pan. - That Dusty keeps getting the hair color wrong is self-referential. When writing stories my early drafts often have inconsistencies in the hair color. ("Wait, I thought she was a brunette?") :) - Brambleberry specializing in bimbo transforms--and having a personal weakness for super-exaggerated bimbo physiques--explains their prevalence (hey, I'm guilty, too!) - Dusty enthusing how Daz's mistake at school was "EPIC!"...a nod to the recent movie about fairies Hope you liked it! :)
