| This story was good and almost great. At points the horror was palpable and sustained. I've never read Lovecraft, but guessed this was an homage to him. My complaint is that, in your evident great desire to seem erudite you used many words as qualifiers completely incorrectly. There are too many of these instances for me to go back and hunt them up for you, go look for yourself. Like I said, this story was good, even very good. The incorrect usage of so many polysyllabic and other words as modifiers in a story already heavy with, appropriate, polysyllabic words, is what made it miss being great. | I am a writer who reads this every once in a while to remind myself of who I'd like to be. The idea of having a girlfriend in the office who's the dominant partner is just icing on the cake. Working as a woman in a hair salone is also a turn-on. Only thing that would make it more so (for me) would be if everyone had to wear a skirted uniform. |

| (another comment :-) I really agree with the Professor. This is a great story and a new angle. The absence of conflict would usually have decreased my enjoyment, but in this case the protagonist's whole-hearted embracing of his inner bitch (when called for) was really fun. |
