| This story is actually quite good on a number of levels, and in some cases, because they pushed some disturbing buttons for me. Its well-written, just the right balance of dialogue and narration. The middle part was especially good, and the sex was quite compelling. The technique is nothing new, but I can tell you from the perspective of someone on the 'receiving end' that there are few men who practice it well, and too few women who understand the difference! Other reviewers are right, that this story *does* traffic in some stereotypes about women, but mostly about men. But that's not an entirely bad thing, since most stereotypes do have some basis in reality, and in this case, they are NOT used for bashing, but only to tell the story. Studies do bear out the fact that men *do* have this "flight" impulse after having sex, for example. The end of the story is particularly bittersweet, and very "feminine" in its tone. Women particularly feel the loss of a "sister", and its easy for me to understand Lily feeling the way that she does. The end does seem to suggest a sequel, but I'm kind of hoping that Jennifer leaves things as they are, and doesn't follow up on this story. | Just curious how many ardent crossdressers would retain a mustache or beard given the immediate negative effect on appearance when dressed. While one can do nothing about one's build or facial structure surely Veronica would see the mustache as a disparate note? Tha aside this type of loving wife fantasy is always a favorite. |
