| Tuck is a coming of age novel with a difference. Tuck is a kind of everyman, but facing things that he had not suspected about himself. I guess he is a bit different than a lot of us reading about him, in that a lot of us have been aware of our different selves from a very early age. But Tuck finds out slowly that perhaps he is not meant for the life he has thought he would lead. This is where he begins to sync with others of us in the T* community perhaps. Is this the fantasy of a lot of T* people? I would have been a boy, I tried, but the fates, God, whatever were against me. I am blameless, I didn't mean to do it. Maybe, but Tuck is not helpless, and not a whiner, he fights the battles he thinks he can win and chooses his surrenders to his own advantage. Ellen, with Tuck, may have done a lot to create a new kind of T* hero, a triumphant victor, not a victim. I like that. Shannen |

| Terri, this is actually a nice story ... but it's a bit buried. I hope you'll write again and when you do, consider this to be an outline or rough draft. Wait a day or two after you've written (to get a fresh perspective) and then go back to re-read and add to what you've written in order to flesh it out. You've got a nice gem here. It just needs a little polishing. |

| This has the ring of the couple who sold her hair for his gift and he bought hair brushes. I take it they are both men now, just when she was good with her situation. Would turning into a man lose Casey's ability to make another Love Potion 9 7/8th? The ending twist dropped some sadness into the story, but we'd want to read about what happens next. Thanks for the story. |

| this one confused me and that is a tough task. Where is the tg? Too many characters seem to make an appearance and disappear The writing seemed solid otherwise, the problem was too many characters. They overwhelmed the actual story. on the plus side, some of the combinations were interesting! I liked K.I.T.T meeting the viper car for example. |
