| Overall, not a bad story, but you need to work on your formatting. It was very difficult to slog through the long "paragraphs". This made it difficult to enjoy the story. The ideas are good, and show care and thought, but the mechanics need a lot of work. None of the dialog was broken up properly. You need to start a new paragraph every time you change speakers. While formatting can change as a result of "artistic liscense" it should not detract from teh story. |
| Altered Fates: Double Edged Sword Details |
| This is a pretty interesting story. There is a magic book and a married couple. The wife gets the magic book and starts experimenting on her husband. I was seriously losing interest in this story about halfway through. It spends way too much time dealing with how Nick feels about each transformation. That is to say, the whole story up until the very end was spent making one point: Nick didn't want to be a girl. That's fine. If Nick doesn't want to be a girl, then let him be. But noooooo, his wife is a lesbian, and she gets mad that Nick wants to be a guy. I guess that would have been ok if Nick had deserved to be changed against his well, but he genuinely loved his wife. And she took advantage of him for it, which makes me doubt that she really loves Nick at all, especially considering that she didn't mind not having his children. Oh well, if you look past that part of the story, the end is really well done. It has a nice litte twist that will surprise everyone. And it made me feel better about spending my time reading it. | I really liked this story. It was a lot of fun every step of the way. It was fun exploring all of James' new emotions, lesbian sex with his girlfriend, his new feelings toward boys, becoming his girlfriend's girlfriend, not to mention his feelings towards himself in this tiny female body. Looking forward to the sequal! |
