| No genies, demons, or magical objects, just a medical invention which may be around the corner in real life, and some solid psychological theory on split personalities. Throw in some fine writing and an underused setting like the south, and some interesting personalities and you have a great story that makes a difference in the lives of the characters. | I enjoy these stories where a person experiences extreme changes, willing or unwilling and how they come to mental grips regarding the changes. I thought the method was rather impired and one I had not seen before, so that was good. I very much liked the way the players had their roles more filled out, and had definate personalities. The author makes good use of the mental differences, not just the physical differences in the make-up of men vs women. I would have liked that to be explored more. I have to agree however, with an earlire review, the ending sucked big. The ending with Christine being sent to become a mindless submissive is a waste, and Chris deserved and merited a much better fate. |
