Random Reviews
It's been a long time since i read a story on this site that i liked enough to review. This is a lovely slow and subtle transformation, sensitively and beautifully handled. If this is your first story for FM, Megan, please don't let it be your last! |
A Time to Move On Details |
Looks like I really stuffed the character conflict and betrayal. :) I've had a few emails making that exact point. They way I see it is as follows:Angela told Liz that Edward didn't know she existed. The sub-text was it was unrequited love. Liz felt betrayed as it was obviously untrue and, perhaps even the girl in Prague/Budapest was also a lie. The lies (when Angela told her she would never lie to her) were the sharpest blow. That coupled with her illness, being revealed was too much.I feel a bit of a goose having to explain but I'm glad you are all enjoying the story anyway. I rather like Liz, and I think of her and the rest of Femme Fatale with affection. |
