| Like the other Tina on 12 January, I think this was the best I have read in a very long time. (And like the others, I read a lot of FM stories!) And like the others, I look forward to more from Jennifer. There are a lot of us who would dearly love to have Craig's experiences as Cathi, and would live them for the rest of our lives. (Sigh.) |

| Fantastic! On the recommendation of my little sister Kelly Ann I read the whole "Unusual Punishment" saga in a couple of nights. One of the most well written, easiest to read TG stories I've ever experienced. The gender change device was no more or less beliveable than any other, but it was easily ignored after the action began. I was a bit offended at first by the way the black girls spoke but I soon realized that the writer was not making fun of them or saying they were any less intelligent or worthy than the white inmates. The discussions on race and religion and gender issues were interestingly presented, not like dry lectures but living conversations. And I liked the way Karen and Keyboard and poor Noodle could handle themselves with their fists. So many times the characters in these TG stories are such wimps and pushovers but not here. All in all a satisfying experience and I look forward to your continuation of Karen's story. |
