| dear Fran: it is so comforting to see that I am not alone in being a totally striaght male who enjoys the look and feel of feminine clothing and to realize that there is hope for treatment to overcome the fear that society will somehow judge me as "Gay", merely because of these yearnings. (FYI my own Wife harbors such misconceptions!) Steven's journey of self-discovery is poignant in so far as he learns through the professionalism and self sacrifice of Doctor Wilson and His Wife and Staff that being a X-dresser should never have any connotation of homosexuality. Steven/Shelly's acceptance of how he is expected to act as a sissy is amazing. Many straight sissies like myself find the expected behavior to be awkward, even though we know we have NO CHOICE! I look forward to the continuation of his journey under Doctor Taylor with the assistance of His handsome Chauffeur Richard. The only question I have is the inclusion of the terms "Bisexuality" and "Gay" in the Keyword section of the synopsis. Since there has been no such activity thus far, I wonder if the remainder will introduce these sexual deviations or will it continue to explore therapeutic remedies for striaght x-dressers, like myself? | Hi. I was gonna comment on the words like spill vs spiel amongst others, but I see someone has beat me to the gun. I'll just say that the story is interesting and very involved in character development. Its very boring in places. You also keep changing the point of view from person to person but keeping the first person way of telling the story. Its very confusing to have I refer to the doctor then I referring to Billie then to another patient. I think with a lot of "tightning" of the plot while keeping the overall story line will improve this story dramatically. Perhaps after I read part two I'll have a different opinion. Its like the story so far is all exposition... no tension. hugs, Danielle. ps. inspite of its flaws... its a good read. |
