| To be frank I feel a little cheated because during the time lapsed between postings of this story, especially the last quarter of it, most especially this last eighth,my short-term memory forgot and conflated characters I'd been very satisfied to know earlier. So I didn't quite see where there was retribution or how the end actions are plausibly conclusive (of what ... was that again?). I'll go back of course and reread in continuity, my pleasure. But a feast like the one you've spread shouldn't be interrupted -- it should be binged! People post entireties or single segments as they prefer. You can't really take the advisce you ask for here, I suspect. I myself never begin to post until I've written and revised an entire story. Because often, when an ending occurs to me more suitable or startling or justified than originally intended, I can go back to earlier segments and revise to prepare for it. This gives me the freedom to use my best ideas during the writing, rather than the adequate ones. It may be that what these wives did deserves a more dramatic finale whether resentful or grateful or something else. I'll know better on rereading. But this story is a major achievement, and you should feel altogether proud of it I think! I hope you do! It provides vast pleasure! |

| A classic tg "crime & punishment" story. It hit several hot buttons (Made to act extremely feminine in public, the first date with a man, frilly costumes, etc.). It starts off with the "good stuff" and never gets away from it. Nothing really departs from the standard formula. But if you like the formula, you'll like this story. |
