| The genie say the wishes cannot change the past or the future, but seeing as every wish changes something in this reality, it always changes the future! When he wished to be rich, suddenly his grandfather became loaded and died, so both the past AND the future got changed by that wish. By becoming a girl after his wish to be attractive, both the past and the future had to be changed again (HE was never born, but 13 years later, SHE was, and HER life will now be very different from how HIS life would have been). So it's a bit strange that he couldn't wish to win the lottery. Suspension of disbelieve in a fantasy story is only possible if an author adheres to the rules he/she has set for the magical system, so a little more thought should have gone into that. Not a bad effort though. It had a good flow to it, and it was edited reasonably well. Too bad you never tried writing anymore stories, at least not on this site. |

| Well-written, and it does what it set out to do. Not too many decent stories have been posted here lately. Would love if you could turn this into a universe of some kind. It has the potential to be up there with some of the old greats if executed properly. Would like to see some variations: Maybe happy endings for everyone, permanent swaps, or bad endings for some people. Imagine if this technology in story was perfected and became a business... Like the service to match people together who want a temporary or permanent swap. Maybe a choice of several different lives or bodies to choose from. No limits to how much fun could be done here. |

| Want to add a bit more to my review. Think that witness protection story lines are not written about enough.. What a great idea, to have a guy think he is going to be given a new name, etc. but gets a new female name, along with body, etc. This was such a great story idea!!! I just think it would have been better ended without the bimbo angle. Would it not be more creative to have him changed into a rather petite woman who has a difficult time with men who are so much larger and powerful than her now? |
