| Oh come on! What next? Sentence-at-a-time stories? Honestly, I do believe that this author could have at least made the effort to *try* and write a story, rather than the first few lines of total SRU rip-off. I can't believe this story even got posted at all.. it is, without a doubt, the most half-assed, meaningly, pointless attempt at TG fiction I've ever had the misfortune to read. I just get the feeling some people don't care what they write, they just want to see their name on a 'new last three days' enquiry. The 'We'll post anything' principle only works as long as 'authors' don't deliberately force Mindy to upload crap like this. Oh - I've got an idea for a universe - i'm calling it 'Changed Destinys', all about a magic bracelet where if you rub someone's clothes against it you turn into the clothes previous wearer. What do you think? |

| This is up my street too. Like others, I like the dual time line. At first I wondered why you didn't flag it more visually with extra breaks or a line of asterisks, but as I read I found I liked the uncertainty, and later the way scenes faded one into each other, very cinematic. I particularly like the ambiguity of Liza's motivation and her playfulness. She's a fine character. Looking forward to more. Al. |

| and when will he get to the j's??? er, uh... great story! such humour! such wit! such sarcasm! and to make it all connect with reality that way. It's just a story, but it makes fun of itself so well! And yet, it has a moral to it that i didn't quite expect, yet agree with so much. Alot of what i read on Fictionmania (i'm relatively new here, THANK YOU YAHOO!!) is so bizarre and so... extreme... but then that's somewhat of the appeal. I would love to step into some of their shoes for a day or a month (well, ok, some of them i think i would definitely trade with for keeps...). Ok, i'm babbling, time for me to make a trip to the mall... thee ya! |
