And once she is married (in the sight of god),she can't switch back without permission from her new Bull husband. Eventually, she puts the lab up for sale. |

| In a way I have to congratulate and thank the author for the effort, it was a remarkable piece of work. However I am not enamoured on the whole. Part 1 was very nice and I enjoyed this part rather much. Part II was bothersome, its' characterisation of the various parties was unusual and at times I believe caricaturisation was more on the mark. Yet I could read it through without skipping or getting incensed. Much. Part III however. I am sorry, but I couldn't read further then maybe halfway through before getting bored with the stereotyping and/or magnifying of male and female traits. Most grating was the harsh and callous way females at Terra were treated. It was dehumanising and unbelievable. Even Spartan society, which reaches farthest in resembling this Patriarchic one, was far removed from this abrasive stand. At the very beginning of part III it was very clear that the two opposing parties Gaia and Terra were destined to a clash. Ultimately destroying what could have been won, were it not for egotistical short-tempered distrusting power-hungry traitorous conniving narrow-minded bigots involved. ( I am sure there are a few superlatives missing still :) ) Only it took the author almost as much, as for part I and II combined, to reach that stage in part III, and imho it was winded and unnecessarily complicated. It had promise, for as far as part I and II went, but didn't come through in the end is my opinion. And for that I'm a little disappointed, but hey! It's a work of love, for paper and chumps' change, and who am I to bicker. Thank you for the tale. Jo-Anne |

| Ah another historian! True my comment about women not owning property only applies to the earlier years of the Victorian era, but expanding in depth would we too much to read right here. But you get the general gist of what I’m trying to say. As the Genderwave changes history men who become women will have their histories written to reflect these laws. So as you can imagine they will be in for an enormous shock. I concur with your other points you’ve made about different eras. Are you by any chance the same Sukiada that wrote Genderwave: The Uninformed? Anyhow I am eager to hear what sort of Genderwave story you are considering writing. |
