| A very impressive first story from this author! I liked the slow buildup of the changes occuring to Don as he was changing into Dawn. The author handled the changing physical and mental aspects of the change with just the right touch--it kept the reader's attention while helping to move the plotline forward. It can be difficult to convey the mental aspects of the change in a story, but this author seemed to have the right touch by having Don become more ingrained with the other women in the clerical group as the change progressed, thus alleviating some of the mental conflicts. At the very end, the plot seemed to start to become a bit familiar, but was rescued with the nice little twist that left the reader with a very satisfying ending. This was a really wonderful first time story from this author, and I hope she will be able to share other stories in the future. I certainly will look forward to any future writing efforts this author may do. |
