Liz got her boyfriend some FM cigarettes that would slowly feminize, to get him to quit smoking. Apparently her plan backfired.

Cute story, good feel for the original show. Thanks for writing.

Sorry you didn't like my story. A few things - yes I proofed it 4 times. If you read the tale and got the impression that I believe that woman should be subservient to men, then either I did a poor job of conveying my true feelings are you read it through a glass darkly of preconceived ideas. Nothing could be further from he truth. I don't think either sex should dominate - men and woman work better in partnerships of mutual respect. Clay wants desperately to escape from his obligations and the responsibilities and he uses the opportunity of the exchange of his bodies with his wife to do so. Also, Clay loved his wife - I don't recall any hint in the story that he tried to dominate her. As for the lawyer not being a realistic character - he wasn't meant to be he was susposed to really off the wall comic villian the whole story was basically a farce and he wasn't supposed to be a believable character, just a figure of fun, if this is wrong I have plenty of company with other writers - like Shakespeare's dumb cop in Much to Do About Nothing" Dogberry hardly a name of a character to be thought realistic. As for second story the characters were superficial deliberately -with superficial desires. The reasons the characters in the story Pretty in Pink changed was because they were in different bodies! Surely they have a right to de different over a period of time a profootball line Lineman & the other 105 lbs Yoga instructor!

Gee, two such inteliigent writers. Such a wonderfully crafted story. Too bad neither one ran it through a spell checker or proofreader. It made it very painful to read.

Every month or so I check to see if my favorite FM authors have posted anything new. I'm most deeply into comic book themes and it's a delight to find that Aladdin has a new installment of WOUNDED WORLD up. I was a bit surprise that, so far, no one has reviewed it. It is certainly as good as any of the stories that have come before it. It seldom occurs to me to write reviews, not even to stories I like, but I felt I had get off the couch this time, so that Aladdin knows how much some of us appreciate his well-crafted yarns. From the first Aladdin story I read I thought he shouild be writing professionally. But if he was, he probably wouldn't have time enough to do Mantra stories as freebies, and that would be a pity. Waiting for WOUNDED WORLD part 3 will be like waiting for Christmas. I've always enjoyed best the stories where Mantra is interacting with the kids. The author must personally love family life and partenthood to be able to express its pleasures and pains so well. This approach helps Mantra come across as a deeply sympathetic character, even though she's one tough cookie. Too many people when doing comic fan fiction try to write just like the paneled originals, with too much combat and too little in-depth characterization. But Aladdin seems to understand the movement and flow of adventure fiction. He guides Mantra through what are essentially pro-quality adventure/suspense plots and his characters are the fullest that I've seen in comic-derived works. His depiction of Mantra herself is a masterwork. We feel that we really know her--quite a feat, considering what an unusual character she is. Gus, rather neglected in the comic, comes off as three dimensional when Aladdin does him. I really have admired the way the author has found poignancy and depth in action heroes like Pinnacle and Warstrike. Please keep writing Mantra stories of this calibre, Aladdin, and I'll keep enjoying them.

Donna, what a great story, I have enjoyed every chapter and kind of sad to see it end. I almost feel like I know Sandy and watched her grow up. You did a terrific job of bringing Sandy's life to real life proportions. Thank you.
