Well, human skin has an outer dead layer...which gets shed slowly. All these "permanent" things won't stay on that long. But maybe the women were just trying to scare the warden, and maybe he was too scared and ignorant to realize that they were lying to him. All in all, an okay story.

Very good. Would liked to have seen more development of how the charactor changed from being a boy into a girl. Also would like to see more of how the charactor developed after the operation. Other than that, a very good story.
