| @Lisa Lovelace I started to write in English but realized it wasn't very productive. The search for the correct translation was to time consuming. At more than nine German pages I went for google translator and thus translated it sentence by sentence to get nearly eigth English pages. Thus rougly ten percent less. Google translator reminded me of 1980 when the newspapers decided that they no longer needed typesetters, computers were so much better. Well Word didn't care about capital and lower case letters. In German it matters. The city of Essen originates from Assindia not from the verb essen (to eat) well Essen can mean meal too. Google translator switched genders a lot too. Well I read an article why native English speakers have so many problems with German. It's because German words are male, female or neuter (He-She-It) and it delivered an interesting example. the man in German is male der Mann the woman in German if female die Frau the boy in German is male der Junge the girl in German is neuter das Mädchen die Mädchen isn't female but would translate into the girls In this case the -en- would be the plural ending die Frauen, die Jungen die Mannen would be wrong though. The plural of der Mann is die Männer. Somehow this reminds me of the irregular verbs ;) |

| I think I was going for something a little different in this story, something I didn't quite pull off. In essence, this story doesn't take place in the real world, but in a skewed, different version of it. I know, I know, it's sci fi, the future, etc. I mean more different than that. In the world of the story, women are superior. In the world of the story women aren't lesbians only because they haven't tried it or have been conditioned against it due to upbringing. In the world of the story any man who thinks about it is perfectly willing to part with his manhood in order to be a lesbian. In the world of the story women are smarter, more capable of feeling -- things which in reality are either untrue or true in a very limited way in individual cases. I have run across a few TG stories which seemed to pull the reader into an alternate reality, a reality subtly skewed so as to center around a given fetish, stories which were deftly written enough to somehow make emotional sense, to make something which would normally be just weird instead be exciting. That was what I was trying for, although from the reactions I probably missed the mark. And then of course there is that fact that the story is literally a dream -- I dreamt the first half of it one night and added the second half as a logical and (to me) sexually exciting extension.
