| Although not normally a fan of magical transformation, this was handled so well that I enjoyed it very much. The transformation was great, the story was well-written with good flow and pace, and the characters were believable. My only complaint is that no mechanic, male or female, ever has long fingernails! They're impractical, they break the first time a spanner slips, and they get grease under them that's imopossible to remove. |

| For anyone who cares to read any reviews that may or may not come in on this story, a bit of explanation is in order. The PENNY WISHES stories (there are 3) were written by my late father, the original Captain Webster. They are reprinted here at my request. I am the Jeremiah in the first story, and my half sister Sarah is in the second. The third features my Dad and his cousin John, along with a lot of other relatives and friends of Dad's.
