| if only the "lottery" were real... I for one would volunteer ; ) Well written. I did notice a few style errors though. Duplication of phrase within a paragraph,i.e.: he helped him slip into the jacket... then slipped into his own. maybe something like " He helped Pat slip into the leather jacket then put on his own - or - donned his own... that way the reader isn't assailed by repetative phrase-ology; makes for a "smoother" read. also, it isn't necessary to repeat things that have already been given to the reader over much.... knowing that patrick had had the plan of being the mentor was clearly defined in the beginning... it wasn't necessary to tell me that another 6 times. All in all a good read, without too many mispellings or other distracting oddities. I like the straight forwardness, and ( although the cause wasn't shared ) you devised a great motive for the transformation of male to female. Perhaps the serum attached itself to the subjects dna converting the XY chromosomepair into XX? the conversion would then take place as the body underwent its normal cellular replacements that are ongoing in every living being....just a thought to perhaps justify the mechanism of the serum....
