| Jayme, I do hope your lovely story is all or mostly true...I especially loved the attention paid to your lovely hair and desire to keep it very long. When I was very young, my uncut beautiful red-gold, waist- length curls were probably the motivating element in the decision of my mother and my aunt to encourage my feminization, to the point that I lived for over thre years as complete girl from age 10-13. Your story brings back many memories of the nurturing bond between a devoted mother and an 'artistic' son who has a natural attraction for being both different and pretty, leading into a fuller femininity. It's great for such a tale also to avoid completely the idea of 'enforcing' girlishness on an attractive boy. Please write more... |

| Good story, Cooper. If for no other reason than that the Captain Kirk in the original series was an arrogant, sexist jerk. :) Even though I was just a kid when I first saw the show in syndication (I was only 2 years old when it premiered in 1966), I always thought that Kirk treated the women he encountered as sex objects, or in the case of female members of the crew, rarely took them seriously--the notable exceptions being LT. Uhura and Nurse Christine Chapel. I mean, how could he NOT know that Yeoman Janice Rand had a crush on him, when it was obvious to anyone over the age of twelve who had seen the two of them together on-screen more than once? (Of course, the same could also be said of Nurse Chapel and Mr. Spock; the only time that they revealed their true feelings for one another was in the episode THE NAKED TIME.) He (the character, I mean, not William Shatner; by all accounts--at least the ones that I recall reading-- Shatner was, and is, an insufferable egomaniac) had mellowed just a bit by the time the films came out. Two small corrections, though: It's "phasEr", not "phasOr", and the crystals which are used to transfer power from a starship's main matter/antimatter fusion reactor are "DIlithium crystals", not "MONOlithium crystals". :) |
