an interesting concept i think you need to do a bit more with it though. perhaps tell us what happens 30 years later. did the alien succeed? did his swapping lead to the colapse of the USSR. you've set up a nice story but little seems to have happened in it so far they swap bodies but can't tell anyone. if the alien can control their actions why bother swapping them in the first place? let us in on the aliens plans so we can understand why all this takes place!
