| Deanna, this is the start of a very sweet story. I look forward to the rest of the story. A few minor quibbles distracted me from the story. You twice describe Dean's voice as "mid soprano". Since soprano is the highest voice range of women or boys, I think you may have meant tenor, which is the highest natural masculine voice range. For adult males, the term soprano is obsolete and seems to have been reserved for castrati. As such, it was a bit jarring in the context of this story. After lunch, you write, "With the exception of rivets of deep tingling sensations, the rest of the afternoon was a repeat of the morning." I'm not sure what word you meant but I don’t think it was rivets. I mentally translated it to "rivulets" and it almost worked but still felt awkward. Again, I very much liked the story and look forward to the rest of it. Thank you. |
