| I have rarely been so excited from reading anything as I was as I read this story. I have never thought about being submissive but caught myself (in a strange way) wishing it were me that were being put through these trials. | Hello: Actually, having read the cheerleader tale and now this one, I'd like to know more about the genie character-- a genie who's a rumpled little man with a sardonic sense of humor is a clever and different creation. I do not like "identity death" stories. This really bothers me. In a sense the character died. Your hero/heroine in this story may have been reckless but he was not evil and did not deserve that fate. The protaginists in the cheerleader tale at least retain a sense of their former selves. The main character in this story does not. I realize these stories are fables with a moral of something like "be careful what you wish for, you might get it" and "look (very carefully) before you leap." Are you planning more stories with this genie character or are you thinking about writing some different sorts of tales? Yes, I would/will read more stories by you. Peace-- hippie cheerleader. |
