| I could join the chorus about the end of Part 3 being predictable, but I wonder if this is really the end of the story. We already know that Alan did not want to do this and he only went through with it because of Mr. Cappa's threat at the end. Robert had already told Alan that he wanted him to be a trophy wife, but the father and son would seem to have given Alan a lot of power here. After all, Robert is opening up a new office. That would put them away from Mr. Cappa's control. What would happen if Alan decided to ruin the business? Is Robert really an overbearing person or is it an act he puts on for his father? I could see Alan just throwing the bouquet on the floor in front of the women who set him up and are mocking him. He may have been forced into this situation, but we haven't seen him just accept it. It is still an interesting story to read, regardless of how this part has ended. |
