| Clever, clever! Ironicallly, my real name is Stephen, but I feel that your story realy brings home the feeling of "giving in" to people that you know. I don't know about your situation, (which, I admit, I don't yet know about) but (here comes the critical analysis bit) I am surprised that you didn't show in your story how your wife found out about your 'secret' - (plot development, etc) I think that your story is an exact fantasy of mine, (so,exact, I wish I had written it) in which my wife pushes me further into the feminine side, but I would be really interested in seeing how you develop the story further. | Cool! Nice to see a different side of FM stories. THe humor is nice, it's not too long or short, and amazinly, she's not PERFECT! No cheerleader, no blonde bombshell, no sultry redhead, just a plain old, slightly powerful fat woman. Very original. |

| I've enjoyed the Regenesis series since it's inception. The mythological bent and emphasis on character development manages to make these all fresh takes on the transformation theme. (quite a feat these days) The dialog might flow better if the names of the characters being addressed were edited out of the quotes. In conversation, people only rarely use the names of the people they're speaking to. While I realize that this is being used as a device to make it clearer who is speaking to who, often this clarification is unnecessary or could be handled more elegantly outside of the quotation marks. I got a good laugh during the scene when Phil and Larry transform: "Do you think they're outside the glass watching us?" "I'd be really surprised if they weren't. These people are really weird. They seem to get their jollies by watching people like us change into other things." Indeed. ;) |
