Birth of a New Sissy Part II: Refinement     Details
Looking at all the replies to this story, I feel like I'm adding just a drop in an ocean, but what the heck, every drop counts, right? I loved this story, it evoked VERY strong emotions... I cried, as I do at a lot of these stories, and laughed as I do with even more. I just kept thinking about how I would have chosen. A few moments of intense passion for life is worth more than a thousand lifetimes of mediocrity. That is the same choice I made, though hopefully my life won't be shortened by my choice. After all, better than either of the two, would be a long life of passion for living!

I like the premise of the story: the idea of a criminal PRETENDING to be someone he really wasn't switched with. But the idea of everyone being able to switch back after The Great Swap doesn't sit easily with me. It seems to go very much against the grain of the established TGS subgenre. The government enabling swapping victims to change back works well in THIS story ... but it seems to nullify all the other TGS stories that have been written. That's really my only gripe. Otherwise, this is an interesting, unique story that captures the reader's attention well.

Girl Scout Cookies - The Miracle of Love     Details
I'm really tempted to be terribly critical with this story. It's just that the author saw fit to really get into it, go the whole nine yards from start to finish of a gender change, and did such little research into the facts. Anybody who's been through the process will find this story more of a farce than an intimate look at a person going through a miraculous change, which is too bad, because I can kinda relate to the characters even if they are a bit flat. I don't have problem with all the male fantasy stuff, it's understandable, and this genre is pretty rife in with strong sexual overtones anyway... I just feel it would be nice that if somebody works hard enough to tell a story with this much depth, that they get the simplest facts straight... Anyway, just my take. Yours may vary.
