| The Clothes Make the Man Details |
| When I saw this story posted, I thought, "Great! Another story by one of my favorite authors!" Favorite? Then why haven't I told him so? The Confidant was the best integration of pictures and story I've ever read. Cheap Rent? A fine story. Circumstance by Design? The motive was so ridiculous it was perfect - great story. Which brings me to Testing a Theory. Oh sure, the motive is a little cockeyed, but who cares? This story is straight out of a TG version of the Twilight Zone (which also had more than a few cockeyed motives). It's a fantastic story, warping reality as only Joe can do. I enjoyed it immensely. Joe's writing improves with every outing. This one is his best yet (although I really, really liked The Confidant). Keep 'em coming, Joe. Your are a terrific writer. |

| Far more explicit than we have come to expect from the author, and an excellent off-the-beaten-track example of cultural change. An early story from Waldo, and I wish he had remained closer to this theme and level of eroticism. |
