| Do not, repeat do not, like the overly abusive relationship...but in general you're a good storyteller except for your misspellings... What you spelled as "champaign" several times is likely intended to be that bubbly stuff from France made of chardonay and pinot noir grapes. While formerly a province of France now in Burgandy, the vintage which developed there is what is proprietarily called and spelled "champagne'...at least that's according to the Grand Dame of the Gossinger vintages. Might try reading "Food and Wine" magazine or do a net search for "sommelier". And "rye" is a grain sometimes made into a beverage...recall the lyric "good old men drink whisky and rye"?
